Markowitz Herbold Names Vivek Kothari Shareholder

Portland litigation firm Markowitz Herbold PC announced today that Vivek Kothari has become a shareholder with the firm.

Kothari is a trial lawyer that represents businesses and individuals in complex disputes. His practices include trade secrets, employment, securities, corporate governance, defamation, and contractual matters.

Kothari has negotiated the resolution of complex disputes and has tried dozens of civil and criminal cases in federal and state courts. He led major investigations to identify waste, corruption, and fraud while serving as a federal prosecutor in Atlanta.

Kothari co-founded the Oregon Clemency Project to create a more just, transparent, and equitable clemency process in Oregon.
