Destiny Shelton is a litigator with a broad practice spanning fraud, defamation, breach of contract, fiduciary duty, elder financial abuse, construction defect, property, real estate, business, and environmental disputes.
Destiny’s litigation experience includes serving as second chair at trial, mediation, and temporary restraining order hearings. She is adept at taking and defending depositions, providing strong oral arguments, and researching and drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs. Additionally, she has managed discovery, expert witnesses, and legal vendors with precision and efficiency.
Before joining the firm, Destiny worked at a respected regional law firm, where she gained valuable hands-on experience in litigation. She also served as a research assistant to Professor Melissa Powers at Lewis & Clark Law School, was a member of the Environmental Law Review and the Ninth Circuit Environmental Review, and volunteered her time to causes like Our Children’s Trust and Earthrise Law Center.
